![]() MC Series - Marine Boilers The
Compact
Cyclotherm occupies
up to two thirds LESS space than conventional steam generators because
of its simple 2 pass, Scotch Marine type construction. Cyclonic
Combustion
transfers at least 65% of the heat energy in the fuel directly through
the fire tube, and an additional 15% in the single return pass.
Conventional
steam generators add only extra weight and bulk but get no more
efficiency.
During World War II, the
U.S.
Navy requested Cyclotherm's engineers to develop a compact,
lightweight,
steam generator which would develop top efficiency under the most
rugged
operating conditions. Patented Cyclonic Combustion answered these
demands
so well that Cyclotherm has become the leader in supplying auxiliary
boilers
for shipboard use. No other steam generator can match the Cyclotherm
for
operating efficiency, trouble free service, long life, and maximum of
performance
in a minimum of space.Marine Steam
